Facebook Reaches Out
Facebook have announced that they are going to make a slimmed down version of the worlds best social networking site named (Facebooklite). This is for people with slow or poor Internet connection. Facebook said it will be simpler to use although it offers less services than main site.
This is designed to reach out to users in developing countries where bandwidth is a constraint on using the latest version.
At the moment the “lite” version is only available in India and the U.S.
This is almost like a direct response to Twitter with its layout.
The new “lite” version is set to be a hitter, but will it ever be as user-friendly as Twitter, we will purely have to wait and see!
