The Tech Pod

Yesterday the gaze of the tech world was focused in one place and that place was palm announcing the new pixi smart phone. In other news apple announced in their music event that they will be upgrading itunes, dropping the price of the ipod touch (Me and joe’s favourite iPod) and adding a new 50% faster 64gb model with a few more apps, Upgrading the classic from 120gb to 160gb and finally dropping the price of the shuffle.

Then Steve Jobs with his new liver announced there was one more thing which left every one crossing their fingers and muttering tablet under their breath, but it turned out to just be a camera on the nano. The idea of a video camera on a device that small is kinda neat especially when it comes in amazing colors plays music and all your video in the same device. But the big question is what will the quality be like, if its crap quality its a useless upgrade and they would be better giving us a price cut but if the quality can compare to the flip camcorders its a bargain and should be on everyones Christmas list. As more video emerges on sites like youtube we will have a better idea to whats its like.

But was the event a disappointment NO Tablet NO completely new iPod NO camera on the iPod Touch and No Beatles
